In January 2007, the last edition of Sinaval-Eurofishing attracted 447 firms from 27 countries and more than 6200 visitors over four days at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. In view of the success, the organizers have already begun their international promotional campaign for the 2009 event.

The next Sinaval-Eurofishing fair has already been presented in Istanbul, Ancona and Glasgow, and within Spain in Madrid, San Carlos de la Rápita and Burela. Further presentations are scheduled this year in Oslo, Aveiro, Vigo, Aalborg, Lorient, Barcelona, Rotterdam and Agadir.

Sinaval-Eurofishing 2009 will once again be a meeting point for the shipping, maritime, port and fishing industries, where they can discuss and analyze their experiences and problems and seek solutions. It will also be a showcase for new developments, technologies and services, presented by leading specialist firms.

The organizers of this two-part event have already established their basic strategy, which places great emphasis on the reaching of agreements and the drawing up of programmes to ensure the presence of high-quality, representative visitors. This formula proved extremely successful in last January’s event and will be used even more extensively in the present campaign.
