So far users can access the BIEMH, Construlan and Salón de Bisutería events

Bilbao Exhibition Centre has launched a new exhibitor location service available via mobile devices which is operational for the BIEMH (Machine-tool Biennial), Construlan and Salón de Bisutería (Costume Jewellery Fair) events. The service provides users with a simple connection through which they can locate firms and products from any event using their mobile phone, via the link http://mobile.bec.eu

By entering this address on a mobile phone/ Blackberry users can also create customised itineraries for visits, send e-mails (provided the mobile device used has this feature) and place calls directly to the exhibitors selected.

The management of the Centre have developed this new service to make full use of the potential of their website, to which other options have recently been added. Of particular interest is the “online store”, an interactive feature through which stands can be designed and fitted out on the basis of an outline sketch. This is the first system of its kind in Spain. There is also an advanced search feature for locating exhibitors based on various search criteria (sector, subsector & place of origin).

All these tools are the result of the efforts of Bilbao Exhibition Centre to provide its customers with a wider range of high-quality services and thus increase its competitiveness in the trade fair sector.
