The first meeting of the Advisory Technical Committee of Ferroforma 2009 was held this morning, attended by representatives of ACHA, Herramientas de Precisión, FEDAFE, Ferretería Carcedo, Gremi de Comerciants de Catalunya, Herramex, Icex, Proinsa, Representaciones Tellería, Rothenberger, Tesa-Talleres de Escoriaza, Wuto Suministros and the magazines Iberferr, Ferronoticias and Interempresas. Among those attending was Hans-Joachim Kampen, Director of Eisenwarenmesse/PracticalWorld, who was officially presented at the start of the committee meeting.

The agenda for the meeting focused on presenting the event, campaigns to attract exhibitors and visitors, and also communication and advertising. Issues discussed included the strategic agreement with Cologne, the new on-line services, promoting sectors such as timber, housewares and gardening, new collaboration actions and some of the initiatives to be incorporated into the development of Ferroforma-Bricoforma in March next year.
