Over 70 specialists gathered for the presentation of BIEMH and its reference sector in the Indian city of Pune.  The presentation was attended by Indian importers and distributors, heads of end-user companies and the specialist media, eager to seek out new opportunities for trade deals with our country.

The BIEMH programme for delegations of purchasers has been highly rated by Indian specialists since earlier editions of the event, so the organisers placed particular emphasis on the opportunities on offer for contacting machine-tool manufacturers at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

An analysis of the machine-tool sector in India was given by representatives of the local Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture.  India is currently the fourth largest export market for Spanish machine-tools, and holds enormous potential for manufacturers of products suitable for use in the automotive, steel, railway, energy and aeronautics industries, all of which are undergoing growth in India.
